The manufacturing group of Ritus Corporation, Vanseal Corporation, and Classic Molding acquired by Blue Point Capital Partners.

Blue Point Capital Partners (BPCP) has acquired VRC, a maker of rubber, plastic and sealing components, from Corporate Group, a Milwaukee-based private equity firm. Corporate Group spun off the manufacturing group to BPCP but has retained a minority interest in the companies.

John LeMay and Jonathan Pressnell led the transaction for Blue Point. Blue Point has been in this sector before through Quality Synthetic Rubber, a Twinsburg, OH-based maker of molded silicon rubber components which it sold in July 2012 to Lexington Precision, then a portfolio company of Industrial Growth Partners.
